Grooming

Women are typically better groomed than men and they would usually like you to be well groomed also. Making sure your nails (fingers and toes) are trimmed the day before you are going for a out is a good idea. Before going on your date, take a shower and wear a pleasing cologne, be sure not to over do it. You don’t want to put her off by bathing in cologne.  Don’t forget to brush your teeth and to stuff a few mouth fresheners into your pocket. Choose your attire carefully.

Your dress can be either formal or casual depending on the places you are going to take her. Each person has a different body structure and skin tone and needs different type of dress to complement their looks.

Attitude

Your attitude is another key factor that can either make your day or break it. You should come across as a person who is sensitive and generous but confidant, and in control. Don’t be afraid to voice your true opinion even if it is not in keeping with her and she will respect you for honesty. For example, if Jack Nicholson is her favorite actor and you don’t quite like him, tell her so. This is also a good tactic to open the door for some friendly banter between you.

However, don’t voice your opinion too strongly, such as ‘I hate Jack Nicholson!’ You can always say something like ‘He is good but I am not quite fond of him…I am actually a huge fan of Tom Hanks.’ Also, express appreciation for any talent that she may possess, but make her work for your praise. Just not too hard. A woman wants you more if she thinks you are a challenge to get. If she is a working professional, express interest about her work and if she writes poems, tell her you would like to read some of her poems.

Listening skill

You must listen to your girl dates carefully. Women in general are great talkers as well as good listeners. Therefore, they will expect you to pay close attention to what they are saying and remember most of it. So, be an active listener and don’t drift away in the middle of a conversation.
